High Stress Levels Adversely Affect Fertility

A study confirmed that stress interferes with fertility by charting levels of a stress-related enzyme called alpha-amylase. Women with the highest alpha-amylase levels were approximately 12 percent less likely to get pregnant than women with the lowest levels of the enzyme.
