In recent years, the annual number of reports to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) has exceeded the total number of reports of routine childhood vaccine-preventable disease!

The National Vaccine Information Center is proud to announce the sponsorship of MedAlerts featuring a searchable database containing the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS). To search the VAERS database go to www.NVIC.org/Issues/VAERS.htm or www.MedAlerts.org

If you suspect that you or your child has experienced a vaccine reaction, report that reaction to the government at the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System. You can also report a reaction to the National Vaccine Information Center. They have kept a vaccine adverse event database since 1982. To report a reaction to NVIC, click here.
